​Here, the seasons guide our efforts: We harvest maple syrup in the early spring, tend to buzzing bees for our signature honey, and manage our small orchard. Our table is always full, thanks to our robust gardens of seasonal vegetables, berries, and herbs, complemented by eggs from our happy hens and meat from right here on the farm.  We are proud to be a MAEAP Verified Environmentally Friendly Farm.

Local Farm

 Homegrown Farm has been operating for over 10 years in Lapeer, Michigan by the Beaudet family.  We believe true satisfaction comes from the work of our own hands and enjoy working towards self sufficiency on our homestead growing, making and preserving everything we can.  We are always adding new skills so be sure to come back often to see what we’re up to.  We are commited to living cyclically, guided by the seasons, and striving for self-sufficiency one jar of honey and one row of vegetables at a time.

Our practices are rooted in sustainable stewardship, embracing the seasonal cycle to achieve true self-sufficiency. We focus on diversity—from cultivating our small orchard and raising chickens, to harvesting our own maple syrup and honey, and respectfully utilizing locally sourced venison. Everything planted, raised, foraged or harvested from the Earth.  Orchard & Berry Care, annual vegetable gardening as well as perennial herbs and plants.

Livestock & Poultry

Raising and caring for animals including chickens for eggs and meat, turkeys, ducks, lambs, calves, and rabbits.
